Driver arrested after hit and run

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A woman was arrested and charged with felony hit and run tonight after an incident on the southwest side.

The victim was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Renee Carlson said.

The driver was traveling west on West Nebraska Street near San Joaquin Avenue when she hit a man.

The driver fled the scene, Carlson said. When he returned, she was charged.

    The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who ran away from the scene of a deadly crash in George County. Three children were killed in the crash. Troopers said a green 2003 Kia Optima was heading east on Highway 198, east of Depot Road, shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
