(RNN) – Things have been going AJ's McCarron's way for a while, but that trend won't continue if the maker of an online petition gets his wish.

McCarron has won two BCS national championships as the quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide, and is currently dating the reigning Miss Alabama. However, that does not keep him safe from possible deportation.

A registered user at the White House's online petition website, We The People, established a petition to deport McCarron. The reason for deportation? He is getting in the way of ESPN broadcaster Brent Musberger's pursuit of his girlfriend, Katherine Webb.

Webb was singled out by Musberger during the national championship game when she was spotted by ESPN cameras sitting with the quarterback's family. Musberger's comments regarding Webb drew criticism from several places, and ESPN later issued an apology.

The incident was even the subject of a question posed to a finalist in the Miss America Pageant on Sunday night.

Petitions must gain 25,000 signatures in a month to receive an official response from the White House. Petitions on the site range from the serious – gun legislation – to the frivolous – the United States building a Star Wars-inspired Death Star, which the White House rejected.

The McCarron petition had 26 signatures as of Sunday afternoon.

It was created by a user called Creepy M. A Twitter feed called Creepy Musberger was created during the BCS championship game in the wake of the 73-year-old broadcaster's infatuation with the 23-year-old Webb.

There is no word on if the two accounts are related.
