Update on missing elderly couple, according to Tempe Police the couple has been found and is back home safe.
According to Tucson Police, Mr. and Mrs. Stegmeier were located earlier this morning and have been reunited with their family.
Several checks were made of the couple's residence and various areas in Tempe, according to Tempe Police.
The couple have returned home, and seem to be in good health.
Both Tempe and Tucson Police Departments would like to the thank the public for the outpouring of concern and help in searching for the couple.
