TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
There are new details on five former Pima County
corrections officers accused of being involved in a bar fight. The case will go before a new grand jury.
The officers were originally charged after
a fight outside the Buffet near Fourth Avenue last September.
Now, those charges have been dismissed after defense attorneys accused prosecutors of unfairly presenting the case.
No date has been set for another grand
jury to hear the case.
The five officers and two others were all fired from their jobs after
the incident.
