Two cousins killed in Ashtabula County car accident

ASHTABULA COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

 

Two young cousins were killed in an early morning car accident. It happened around 1:00 a.m. Thursday on Middle Road in Monroe Township.

Officials say the Jeep drove off the right side of the road and into a ditch. The Jeep then struck a driveway embankment and a tree.

Officials say alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.

The driver has been id'd as Daniel Miller, 21, of Piermont and his passenger was Katie Miller, 20, of Piermont.

Pierpont Fire and Rescue and the Ashtabula County coroner responded to the scene.
