Abou Kane, everyone knew him as Willie, was the owner of Well's clothing store on Kinsman on the city of Cleveland's east side.
A store employee is dead after trying to stop a robbery at his store Friday night. It happened at Well's Fashions Clothing Store on Kinsman Avenue just before 8 p.m.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has identified the store owner shot and killed after trying to stop a robbery at his store.

A man has been arrested for the murder of a Cleveland clothing store owner, a killing that outraged a community.
23-year-old Bernard Richardson is sitting in the Cleveland City Jail under a homicide charge.
The killing happened on East 143rd and Kinsman at Well's clothing store on January 8.
Store owner 54-year-old Abou "Willie" Kane, an immigrant from South Africa with two young children, was the victim in this incident.
Apparently Kane was involved in some kind of confrontation just outside the store which resulted in him being shot to death chasing two robbers.
Investigators are still looking for another suspect.
