Professionals from all over North America are converging on Sebring, Florida in February to teach and to learn from one another the latest tips and techniques, as well as best practices, for fence installation.

Part of being a professional is a commitment to constant improvement. For teachers, it means taking courses when school is out. For doctors, it means attending lectures and studying new techniques and treatments. For Modern Fence Technologies it means going to Sebring, Florida this February to attend the NAFCA Fence Training School 2013.

Taught by a staff of professionals with combined over 250 years of installation experience, the school will build multiple fences at the Sebring Municipal Golf Course in Sebring, Florida.

Mart Prost, the Director of Education for NAFCA, the North American Fence Association, is heading up the effort to improve traffic flow and security at the site. "It's a continuing effort to improve the appearance and the guest experience at the golf course. We're excited to have this opportunity to train our members and other fence professionals while providing a valuable public service."

Golfers and neighbors will begin to see site preparation in early February, with initial construction of phase one beginning on February 7th. New 6-foot high chain link will mark the west edge of the property, and elsewhere, installers will be assembling vinyl privacy panels to screen the course from work areas, and two rail fence to guide golfers through the parking lot.

With gates and automatic gate operators as part of the curriculum, these will be added as well. Future phases will expand on the first runs, and eventually will extend to fence work at the baseball diamonds operated by the City of Sebring. "NAFCA is dedicated to education and service. This school is one of the ways that NAFCA can achieve both objectives and provide a real value to both the students and the community.", Prost said.
