TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
The largest youth soccer tournament in Southern Arizona kicks off today.The 23rd annual Tucson Association of Realtors Shootout kicks is bringing over 5,000 players, and 358 teams out for the three day competition
Players and families come from all over Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas. This year there will be many players from Mexico too.
The opening ceremony starts tonight at 6 p.m. at Fort Lowell park with the lighting of the torch and parade of athletes.
Organizers expect a big economic impact. They expect to bring over $3 million dollars to the local economy.
