TUCSON (Tucson News Now) - With many hospitals facing a shortage of qualified nurses, Pima Community College says it is helping through a partnership with Northern Arizona University.
Students who are pursuing an
associate degree in nursing at PCC can simultaneously earn a bachelor of science in
nursing from NAU.
The new program begins this semester. PCC says it enables students in
Tucson to take NAU courses online or in a hybrid format as they work to fulfill
the program's 120-credit requirement.
The program is designed to be completed in five semesters and is being
offered through the PCC's West Campus Nursing Department. You can learn more about it through PCC's Concurrent Enrollment Program
brochure.
