The Arizona Department of Transportation says a tractor-trailer fire Saturday morning has closed eastbound Interstate 8 about 20 miles east of Gila Bend.
ADOT says drivers in the area should expect delays.
Detours include State Route 238 from Gila Bend to Maricopa. Once in Maricopa, drivers can turn south on State Route 347 and then use State Route 84 to return to I-8.
