PCC student reports she was robbed at gunpoint

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Pima Community College student reported she robbed at gunpoint and the victim of an attempted sexual assault Friday afternoon on the downtown campus.

The student told campus police the incident happened between 4:40 and 5:40 p.m., Pima Police Chief Stella Bay said in a Campus Watch Bulletin.

"The student reported while in the women's restroom a male exited a stall and ordered her back into the stall at gun point," the bulletin said. "The student reported that the male subject demanded she turn over some personal property and attempted to sexually assault her."

The assailant was a black male in his 20s with short dreadlocks, about 5-foot-8 to 5-11. She reported he was wearing black jeans, a black and gray plaid long sleeve shirt and black shoes. T

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
