EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) -
Police
are investigating a shooting that occurred in Evanston Saturday night.
The
shooting happened just after 6:00 p.m. on the corner of Mongomery Road and
Hewitt Avenue.
Police
say they found two brothers in a car at the location.
The
brothers told officers they were participating in a drug deal when someone shot
one of the men in the torso.
The
injured brother tried to drive to the hospital. However, when the man saw an
officer he stopped and asked for help.
The
victim is being treated at the University Medical Center.
The
suspect is still on the loose.
