The Cincinnati Museum Center is packed with activity this weekend for the annual African Culture Festival.
The festival provides patrons the opportunity to learn about Africa's rich history and culture. Visitors can learn about local organizations working in Africa and see projects they are working on in different parts of the country.
The festival has a marketplace where vendors sell authentic African goods such as baskets, jewelry and perfumes.
Daily demonstrations teach visitors about day-to-day life in the Congo. Visitors also have an opportunity to take part in African art demonstrations.
The event will continue through Monday evening. The market opens at 11 a.m. on Sunday and at 10 a.m. on Monday with all activities beginning at noon.
