TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Local students will be attending today's ceremony in Washington, including some from the University of Arizona.

Two UA students are in Washington D.C. right now to witness history in the making, but they won't be watching President Obama's second inauguration, they will be covering it.

The students are from the Journalism Department at UA and will be getting hands on experience during this huge event.

Junior Amer Taleb and Sami-Jo Roth will be at the Capitol taking pictures and recording video of the event as part of their internships out there.  Their stories will go to various news outlets.

The two are beyond excited to be immersed in the political atmosphere and to be able to witness such a historic occasion.
