Salvation Army, SW Gas program offers help with gas bill

Posted: Updated:

Salvation Army, in partnership with Southwest Gas and their Energy Share Program, will be hosting a Natural Gas Assistance Day to help out Southwest Gas customers with their gas bill.

This event will be held today, Jan. 24 and Jan. 31 at The Salvation Army City Administration Office located at 1001 N. Richey Blvd. from 8 a.m. -  4 p.m.  People can also call the information line at (520) 792-1111.

Bills do not need to be overdue to receive the assistance as long as low-income and/or hardship can be determined through the application review process of all required documents.

People who have received assistance through the Pima County Emergency Services Network in the past year can still be qualified for assistance through the SWG Energy Share Program. Participants do not need to call SWG or The Salvation Army office to attend.
