Deputy fires weapon, no one hurt

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Pima County Sheriff's deputy fired his weapon while responding to a domestic dispute in Picture Rocks today. No one was hurt in the incident.

According to a statement on Twitter by Sheriff's public information officer Tom Peine, the incident occurred in the 6200 block of North Van Ark Road, which is between West Picture Rocks and West Rudasill roads.

According to the Sheriff's office, the victim said the suspect was behaving in a threatening manner and was armed. The type of weapon was not disclosed.

    According to Rural/Metro officials, crews arrived at the scene to find that a house under renovation, was engulfed in flames. It took 24 firefighters and eight units a half hour to get the fire under control.
