Police are looking for a man who did not show up at court to face sentencing on multiple rape charges.
BOONE COUNTY, KY (FOX19) -
A sex offender who violated his probation was back in court on Monday.
John Stuedle was convicted and released from the Boone County Jail last Wednesday, for 15 counts of rape with a 15-year-old girl.
Officials say the girl was a willing participant, but her age makes the acts a crime. Stuedle's criminal record also includes assault and terroristic threatening.
The Boone County Prosecutor's Office says that after he was convicted of third degree rape in the Florence case, he was sentenced to 270 days in jail with 5 years probation.
Police had been looking for Stuedle since Friday. According to reports, he violated probation after his release. On Sunday, he was arrested after police found him with a crack pipe in a Price Hill home.
He's being held in a Hamilton County jail until he is extradited to Kentucky.
