Rain brings first river rescue of 2013

Late Breaking news from Tucson's northwest side, where Pima County Sheriff's deputies, and crews from Rural/Metro Fire were called to a river rescue Saturday morning.

Crews responded to the CDO Wash at Overton Road at around 10:45 a.m., for a report of a car stuck in the wash.

Deputy Tom Peine tells Tucson News Now, the driver of the car was not injured.

The roadway is now closed due to flooding.
