Denmark used a hat-trick from 19-year old striker Andreas Cornelius to shutout Canada 4-0 in the first ever International Friendly in Tucson history.
Rain early in the morning threatened the event at Kino Stadium, but the clouds parted and the sun came out just in time to see the Danes score twice in the first ten minutes of the contest.
Cornelius opened the scoring in the 8th minutes. The Danes second goal came just two minutes later from Kasper Lorentzen.
Denmark continually applied the pressure for all 90 minutes against Canada.
Cornelius tallied again in the 35th minute rebounding a shot that ricocheted off the top of the goal. He added his final goal early in the 2nd half.
Denmark will play the Olympic gold medal winning team from Mexico on Wednesday night in a friendly up in Glendale at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
