Tucson Unified School District is holding another round of meetings to get feedback on where hundreds of students will be transferred to once schools close down.
Today's meeting will take place at Wakefield Middle School. The school board voted to close eleven schools to help bridge a predicted $17 million budget gap.
Now the boundaries need to be redrawn to see where hundreds of students will be relocated.
Today's meeting is focused on the west and central schools on the closure list; they are Brichta Elementary School, Hohokam and Maxwell Middle Schools, Menlo Park Elementary and Wakefield Middle School.
