A robbery was reported at a gas station in Camp Washington on Thursday evening.Authorities were called to the Sunoco at 2740 Spring Grove Avenue for a reported armed robbery. It happened around 9:30 p.m.

A man was taken into custody in connection with a spree of recent robberies in the area.
Police arrested Larry Stone of North Fairmount on Wednesday for a Shell gas station robbery. It happened on Tuesday, located at 30 E. Liberty Street.
During Stone's arrest, investigators were able to piece together similarities between this incident and several other recent robberies in the area, including a robbery of Thorton's gas station in Mt. Airy on Jan. 18th, a Family Dollar in Camp Washington on Jan. 22nd, and a Sunoco last Thursday.
Stone was charged with one county of aggravated robbery, related to the Shell station.
