Good Friday morning! Are you ready for the weekend? I know I sure am. In fact, I can't wait to see Erin Jordan's forecast. It's looking like a really nice couple of days.
If you are headed to the gem show you'll have perfect weather. As for traffic, that's a little dicey. Lydia Camarillo is live downtown to bring you the latest for your morning commute, what's up with the gem show and whether or not the city will make its construction clean up deadline around the convention center. Important stuff, so be sure to tune in.
And before you get dressed this morning you're going to want to hear Bryan Navarro's report. You should wear red today...I'll let him tell you why.
We are following a developing story out of Alabama again this morning. That standoff we first brought to you on Tuesday is still going on and emotions are running high. Deputies say they'll wait it out to make sure the child held hostage is okay...but are there any new details? We'll find out in a report from our sister station at five and six o'clock.
Finally, are you ready for the Super Bowl? Blanco is headed here to cook us up some food. NACHOS, the traditional football treat. Can't wait for that.
See you soon,
