A Cleves man has been busted for running a multi-state motorcycle theft investigation.
Robert Chapman, 31, of Cleves was among nine people arrested in 2011 for the alleged operation to steal and re-sell motorcycles.
The group allegedly made $2.5 million between 2000 and 2008.
Chapman motioned to change his plea from not guilty to guilty in federal court on Friday. A hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
According to The Ashland Independent, Chapman sold stolen bikes or their parts to purchasers through his company, TCB Customs.
