TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Detectives with the Pima County Sheriff's Department are seeking the public's help in identifying and locating a man suspected of stealing credit cards and using them in a 10-hour, $20,000 spending spree.

According to a news release from the Sheriff's department, the suspect allegedly stole two credit cards from a locker at a local LA Fitness gym on Dec. 30.

The suspect allegedly proceeded to use the stolen cards to make purchases of electronics, jewelry, food and men's underwear.

Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department says there are a lot of unknowns in this case but they believe he's done it before.

"He's talking to the cashier, he's using the card. He seems perfectly at ease with this situation. He was going to a number of stores. All of them of high value."

The suspect is described as a Caucasian in his id-40s, about 6-feet tall, weighing about 220 pounds. He has short, receding salt and pepper hair and possibly spoke with a Russian accent.

The suspect may have also frequented other LA Fitness gyms in the Tucson area and in Phoenix and Scottsdale.

Anyone with information about the suspect's identity or whereabouts is urged to call 911, 88-CRIME or Det. Laura Gil at (520) 351-6634.
