The General Manager of the Boone County Water District has been arrested for abuse of public trust. A warrant for Phil Trzop, 62, of Walton, was served just before noon on Friday. According to the Boone

BURLINGTON, KY (FOX19) -
The former general manager of the Boone County Water District has been indicted for abuse of public trust.
Phil Trzop, who is also the mayor of Walton, is accused of generating cash by selling scrap metal belonging to the water district and using the money to pay for employee bonuses and keeping some for himself.
The Boone County Commonwealth Attorney's Office says the charge is a Class C felony punishable by 5 to 10 years in prison.
