(RNN) - The rich get richer.

Two-time defending national champion Alabama's 2013 recruiting class was ranked first in the nation by all but one national recruiting organization and 11 of the Southeastern Conference's 14 schools ranked in the Top 25. League schools have won the last seven BCS national championships.

Six SEC recruiting classes were ranked in the Top 10 of Rivals.com's rankings after Signing Day 2013.

Alabama topped the list, Florida was third and LSU fifth. Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze gathered an excellent class headed by five, five star players to stand in seventh place, followed by Texas A&M at eighth and Auburn at 10th.

Alabama signed six, five-star players and 11 four-star players, and its 27 recruits came from nine different states, including Alabama.

Only Scout, which is foxsports.com's recruiting website, ranked Alabama's class lower than first –Ohio State and Michigan were ranked Nos. 1 and 2, followed by the Crimson Tide.

ESPN ranked Georgia's class 10th and Auburn's 11th.

The SEC placed four more teams in the top 25:

South Carolina ranked 16th and Vanderbilt's resurgence continued as head coach James Franklin's third class ranked as high as 19th overall. Tennessee ranked No. 20 and Mississippi State 25th.

Arkansas ranked 26th, but got a surprise when four-star linebacker Alex Collins of South Plantation High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL, didn't sign as expected. ESPN cited two unnamed sources who said his mother "confiscated" his national letter of intent because she didn't want him to play so far away from home. Officials at the school said the family needed more time to decide what to do.

Kentucky ranked 28th nationally and Missouri 50th.
