Amy Tobin's Recipes for Mardi Gras & Valentine's Day

Mini Cocktails in Chocolate Cups
I love to serve tiny cocktails in chocolate cups as a fun little dessert bite. Keep a box of chocolate cups in your cupboard, fill with your favorite liqueur and, presto, it's a party! I'm doing "cheaty" White Russians today. Below are some additional ideas.
Cheers!

Frozen Grasshopper
¾ ounce green crème de menthe

¾ ounce white crème de cacao

1 scoop vanilla ice cream

¼ cup ice
Mix all ingredients together in a blender and blend until drink is the consistency of a good milkshake. Top with whipped cream and drizzle a bit of crème de menthe on top.
White Chocolate Crème Brulee Martini
1½ ounces Vanilla or Caramel Vodka
Splash Godiva White Chocolate liqueur

Splash McGrath's Irish Cream liqueur

Splash Butterscotch Schnapps

Splash Cream
Shake ingredients vigorously with ice in a cocktail shaker, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Key Lime Pie

2 ounces vanilla vodka

1 ounce pineapple juice

½ ounce key lime juice

2 teaspoons cream of coconut
Pour vodka, pineapple juice, key lime juice, cream of coconut, and ice into cocktail mixer. Shake thoroughly then strain into chilled martini glass with garnished rim of honey graham cracker crumbs and lime slice.

Frozen White Russian

2 ounces vodka

2 ounces Kahlua

1 ounce half & half

1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Mix all ingredients together in a blender until smooth.
Orange Dreamsicle

2 ounces vanilla rum

2 ounces amaretto

½ ounce orange juice

1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Mix all ingredients in a blender and mix well on high speed. Pour drink into a tall Collins glass. Top with whipped cream.
