UAPD releases sketch of suspect in strong-arm robbery

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

University of Arizona police have released a composite sketch of one of two suspects in a strong-arm robbery on Tuesday.

The first suspect is described as an African-American man, 23-25 years old, 6'0" tall, about 175-200 pounds and wearing a black track suit with a red stripe running down the side of the pants.

The second suspect is described as an African-American man, 23-25 years old, 6'2" tall, with a medium build and similar clothing. Both suspects were wearing dark knit caps.

The men are suspected of a strong-arm robbery that occurred at about 9:50 p.m. in the path on the east side of the Marley Building at 1145 E. Fourth Street. The suspects approached the victim and forcibly took personal property from him, police say.

No weapon was observed or used and the victim received minor non-life-threatening injuries.
