TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
The Tucson Unified School District governing board is in a special meeting to discuss what's next after a Federal Court judge approved a desegregation plan.
The order will resolve a decades-long battle to end racial disparity in the school district.
The judge also ordered TUSD to begin offering culturally relevant courses next school year, which may include the controversial Mexican-American Studies.
