One person was injured and two homes burned in an early-morning fire on Tucson's south side.
According to Rural/Metro officials the call came in around 4:10 a.m. about a mobile home on fire. Crews arrived at the 3700 block of east Benson Highway.
Firefighting crews reported a narrow driveway leading into the park and several vehicles, as well as residents getting away from the fire, hindered them from reaching the homes sooner.
There were 16 firefighters on scene, according to Rural/Metro officials, who took 20 minutes to put out the flames.
Officials are saying the fire started in one mobile home, and spread to another mobile home attached to the first.
The source of the fire and current estimates of damage are under investigation, according to Rural/Metro officials.
There were no life-threatening injuries reported by firefighters or the public, but one resident was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.
Red Cross was working with the displaced families.
