Bill would approve miniature horses as service animals

A new bill that passed unanimously through the House Health Committee and is now on its way for a vote in the House of Representatives. The bill would redefine what a service animal is to include miniature horses.

"They live longer. Their vision is further, and they're easier to take care of," said Joyce Weber, the executive director of Happy Tails, an organization that helps people train their own dogs as service animals.
