Witnesses found a 3-year-old boy wandering down East Avenue in Elyria in traffic Wednesday, and this isn't the first time this has happened, or even the second.
ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) -
Before an Elyria mom has her day in court for her child wandering away for the 3rd time, the boy was found wandering again.
A woman found the 3-year-old unsupervised on a street in Elyria around 9 a.m. on Valentine's Day.
According to the police report, the boy was wearing rubber boots, shorts and a T-shirt on a day where the temperature was only 35 degrees.
The boy's mother, Latasha Andrewski, 33 was holding her son when officers arrived. After returning to their home, Lorain County Children Services arrived.
This is the 4th time someone has found the toddler wandering in the streets.
Andrewski was charged again for child endangering. She is scheduled to appear in Elyria Municipal Court Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
