Tucson News Now is tracking a breaking development in the Jared Loughner case.
A judge says records related to the January 8th shooting investigation can be released. Several media outlets, including Tucson News Now have requested those files.
Prosecutors did not object, but Loughner's attorney did, saying the privacy of witnesses, victims and Loughner's family should be protected.
Now the judge says with Loughner's guilty plea, there is no need to keep the records sealed.
Tucson News Now has spoken with the Pima County Sheriff's Department, who says they are unsure of when or how the documents will be released.
Stay with Tucson News Now for updates once that happens.
