TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
The Tucson
Police Department (TPD) is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect
from a January robbery.
The
robbery occurred in the afternoon on January 9, at a Circle K at 4160 N. 1st
Avenue. The suspect, described as a Caucasian
male between 18 – 23 years old, 5'7" tall, weighing between 140 to 160 pounds,
had fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
According
to TPD investigators the suspect approached the counter with his hands in his
pockets, implying he had a weapon and demanded cash from the register. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount
of money to the suspect, who then fled the store in an unknown direction.
Police
searched the area, but could not find the suspect. No one was hurt during the robbery, according
to TPD.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, plaid shorts
and a yellow brimmed baseball cap.

with information on the identity or location of the suspect is urged to call 911
or 88-CRIME.
