TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Tucson Police Department (TPD) is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect from a January robbery.

The robbery occurred in the afternoon on January 9, at a Circle K at 4160 N. 1st Avenue.  The suspect, described as a Caucasian male between 18 – 23 years old, 5'7" tall, weighing between 140 to 160 pounds, had fled the scene prior to officers arriving.

According to TPD investigators the suspect approached the counter with his hands in his pockets, implying he had a weapon and demanded cash from the register.  The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who then fled the store in an unknown direction.

Police searched the area, but could not find the suspect.  No one was hurt during the robbery, according to TPD.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, plaid shorts and a yellow brimmed baseball cap.

Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
