The TUSD board voted in favor of approving more than $6 million in cuts. They still have the ability to make deeper cuts later.
Board member Michael Hicks suggests staff who may be on chopping block be approached for feedback on other areas of cuts.
"It looks like is we're not willing to cut administration that's what all these cuts are is cuts to administration I think we need to go ahead and do that then we get to the other issues later, " said TUSD board member Mark Stegemen.
"Whether they are custodian whether they are bus drivers whatever these individuals need to come forward and say I'm not going to wait for this," said Hicks.
On Monday, TUSD will send out letters to families about boundaries and what their options are.
