Latest release brings web-based tools to your mobile device
DUBLIN, OH, Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - Is it your turn to go for a 'Timmy
Run' today? Ever go through the drive-thru, only to swipe your Tim
Card® and realize that you forgot to reload? Relief is here. Tim
Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop's newly upgraded mobile application, TimmyMe,
brings the previously web-based TimmyRun™ and Tim Card reload functions
together on your mobile device, simplifying the coffee run.

Tim Card reload ensures guests never run on empty. TimmyMe now allows
users to set a registered Tim Card's reload frequency, check their Tim
Card balance and give their cards a nickname directly on their mobile
device.
The TimmyRun feature conveniently combines beverage orders for up to 20
people and helps the coffee 'runner' take orders. TimmyRun group
members are emailed when a run is about to take place and given a time
frame to opt-in with their drink request. Once the time is up, an
organized list is compiled and the runner is notified - everything the
runner needs now exists in the palm of their hand. Through the 'private
list' option, group members' favorite beverage orders are stored so
anyone can surprise and delight their friends without them knowing.
"The initial launch of TimmyMe was very well-received by our guests, who
found it fun and easy to interact with our brand," said Linda Kosmack,
Manager, Digital Marketing & Customer Relationship Management, Tim
Hortons. "We are excited to give our guests further access to all of
their favorite digital tools in one convenient spot. The result is less
time getting the coffee and more time enjoying it."
TimmyRun and Tim Card reload join existing TimmyMe features such as the
Restaurant Locator, Nutrition Calculator, social media sharing and a
Contact Us form.
The new TimmyMe is now available for download, free of charge, on iPhone
and Android devices. A previous version of TimmyMe is still available
for BlackBerry users, including the new BlackBerry 10.
