Tips have led to the arrest of three people in connection with the theft of band and music equipment from an unlocked shed in Cottonwood.
The equipment, that was in a shed behind a home in the 1000 block of Territory Trail, was stolen sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
The suspects in Tuesday's arrests are identified as 23-year-old Mitchell Moreno, 18-year-old Charlie Heath, and 18-year-old Gabriel Harman, who were living in an area adjacent to the victim's neighborhood.
Based on tips to Yavapai Silent Witness, detectives went to Moreno's home and discovered one of the stolen drums in his living room. Heath and Harman were in the room, too, and investigators said they saw Harman hiding a stolen guitar. Both were detained. Moreno had stepped away to close a bathroom door and when detectives checked inside this bathroom, they found a majority of the stolen band gear.
The band gear included:
*"Marshall" bass amplifier head
*"Carvin" 5-inch bass cabinet
*Two "Shure" microphones
*"Washburn" four-string bass guitar
*"Schecter" six-string guitar
*"Line 6" guitar amplifier
*Twelve black "Monster" brand cables
*"SKB" brand music case
*"Mackie" speaker made in Italy
*"Tama" brand drums including a 14-inch and 16-inch floor tom
*"Tama" brand, Iron Cobra model bass drum double pedals
*"Remo Roto Toms" - 6-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch pitch changing drums on a stand
*"Tama" Hi-Hat stand
*"Tama" Super Star model 14x5 custom snare drum
*Eight Zildjian cymbals
*"Yamaha" Subkick model
*"Mackie" 12 channel mixer, various drum cases

Detectives estimate that close to 95 percent of the property has been recovered.
The suspects denied involvement in the burglary on Territory Trail. Detectives said they believe that physical evidence recovered by the patrol deputy during the initial investigation will link them to the crime scene.
The suspects were booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center on charges of burglary, trespassing and various theft counts.
