I-10 improvements will close ramp at Marsh Station

By Lauren Ebrahim / Tucson News Now intern

The Westbound entrance ramp onto Interstate 10 at Marsh Station will close March 4 as part of a construction project.

The closure is scheduled to last until early June.

The closure is a part of an I-10 improvement project, says the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The speed limit in that work area has been reduced to 45 mph, so drivers should be prepared to slow down and to use caution in that area.

The AZDOT says the ramp closure is to allow crews working on the project to move construction equipment back and forth across the highway and ensure driver safety.
