GEORGETOWN, OH (FOX19) -
A Brown County Grand Jury has returned a 'no bill' against a Georgetown father who was accused of shooting and killing his son.
Investigators say Leroy Louderback, 71, shot and killed his son, John Louderback, 41, on Dec. 16. Leroy Louderback was charged with voluntary manslaughter and was released from jail after posting bond.
Brown County Prosecutor Jessica Little says a no bill means the grand jury did not find enough evidence to return an indictment. The grand jury was given the law regarding an individual's right to defend himself while in his own residence.
"We believe that the grand jury relied upon that legal theory to find that the shooting was justified," said Little.
