Winter wrap-up: cool season with near average precipitation for Tucson

Although spring doesn't officially being until March 20th this year, for easy seasonal record keeping the National Weather Service considers December, January, and February the winter months.

For Tucson the winter has been cool, but near average precipitation did alleviate some of the drought for the area.
