TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
You have a chance to weigh in on a planned rate increase for Tucson Electric Power.
Earlier this year, state regulators reached an agreement with TEP to increase rates for the average customer by $3 a month.
That's scaled back from TEP's original proposal of $11.
The public can comment on the plan during a meeting on Monday.
The meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. at 400 W. Congress St., Room 222.
On Wednesday, an administrative judge in Tucson will hold a hearing with TEP on the increase proposal.
A final decision is expected this summer.
