ORO VALLEY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A missing hiker from Michigan has been located and airlifted from Catalina State Park.  Pima County Sheriff's Deputies say he was taken to Oro Valley Hospital.  He was dehydrated and had hurt his leg.

The hiker, 31-year-old Jason Bruscha, went missing Sunday night, his family told Oro Valley police.

Police say he went for a hike 8:30 a.m. Sunday. He took a different trail and got lost. Bruscha spent the night in the cold desert before reaching SaddleBrooke Country Club Monday afternoon where he used their phone to call his uncle.

Bruscha is a competitive distance runner from the Detroit area.
