Woman accused of trying to run over officer with her car

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

An East Price Hill woman has been arrested for trying to run over a police officer with her car.

According to Hamilton County court documents, Essence Sims tried to hit the officer after being told to leave a parking lot.

The officer was briefly pinned between two cars. There's no word on the extent of his injuries.

Sims is charged with felonious assault.
