TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A midtown apartment building was evacuated after the discovery of large amounts of ammunition and two suspected pipe bombs, police say.

According to Tucson Police Department spokesman Chris Widmer, the manager of the complex at 610 E. Mohave Road near North First Avenue and East Fort Lowell Road was cleaning out an apartment after an eviction when he made the discovery.

One building in the apartment complex was evacuated.

The police explosive ordinance disposal unit has been called to the scene.
