A murder suspect who tried crossing into the U.S. illegally appeared in video court Thursday night.
Alejandro Talamantes is booked into the Pima County Jail. He confessed to officers he is wanted for murder. As he faced a judge for the time, he was also very talkative.
A judge told him to keep tight lipped and only talk to his lawyer as Talamantes apparently gave up too much information in Spanish.
Customers and Border Protection Officers arrested him yesterday as he tried crossing into the U.S. through the Nogales Port of Entry.
Immigration has also placed a hold on Talamantes because he is a citizen of Nogales, Sonora.
Details about the alleged murder aren't known at this time.
A judge denied Talamantes bond. He is due back in court next week.
