TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Tucson man is facing multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after being arrested yesterday.

Kurt Quimby, 32, was arrested yesterday at the grocery store where he works as a manager.

He was booked into the Pima County Jail and charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of commercial sexual exploitation of a minor.

The arrest came after police searched his apartment in the 2400 block of South Mission Road, where they say they found evidence of his involvement in the possession and distribution of child pornography.

The multi-agency investigation began in April last year when godaddy.com contacted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children after becoming aware of a site being used to sell and distribute child pornography. Police say the site was shut down in a matter of hours after went live.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children contacted Phoenix authorities because the site was traced to an IP address in southern Arizona.

The Oro Valley and Tucson police departments were also involved in the investigation.

TPD is asking anyone with information related to Quimby's activities to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
