Greenfield plant announces closing date

GREENFIELD, OH (FOX19) -

Employees of a Greenfield plant recently learned that their employer will be closing its doors for good.

A letter was distributed to the 166 employees of RR Donnelley on Wednesday stating that the facility located on North Washington Street will permanently close on May 6. The closure will involve the plant's entire operation.

"We are committed to making the transition as smooth as possible for our employees, our customers and for the community," said Cindy Fleming, VP of Human Resources. "At this time, the Company anticipates that employees will be permanently separated from employment with the Company during a 14-day period commencing on May 6, 2013."
