Woman shot on Tucson's south side

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Police are investigating an early morning shooting on the city's south side.

It happened just before 6:00 a.m. Saturday on West Calle Colado, near South Santa Clara Avenue and West Valencia Road.

Detectives tell Tucson News Now a woman was shot multiple times.

We're told her injuries are serious, but not life-threatening.

Right now, there is no word on a possible motive for the shooting.

So far, police have not made any arrests.
