A trial date has been set for a mother and daughter who are accused of stealing $260,000 from Arlington Heights.

The Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office has announced the indictment of a mother and daughter for taking money from the village of Arlington Heights. Laura Jarvis, 32, of Cincinnati, and Donna Covert,
A mother and daughter have been indicted for pocketing traffic fine money from the village of Arlington Heights while they were employees.
CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
One of the women charged with stealing money from the village of Arlington Heights has accepted a plea deal.
Donna Covert, 52, plead guilty on Monday after her and her daughter, Laura Jarvis, were accused of stealing $260,000 in traffic fine money from the village while they were employees. Authorities believe it happened between July 1st, 2007 and February 19th, 2010.
Covert and Jarvis were indicted for two counts of theft in office, two
counts of tampering with records and one count of unauthorized use of
property.
Covert agreed to a one year in prison sentence on Monday, after facing over 15 years behind bars. Her official sentencing is scheduled in June.
