Sheriff seeks help finding person of interest in double murder

Pima County Sheriff's investigators are looking for a person of interest in a double murder homicide case from Three Points.

According to police, Charlie Michael Wooden, 29, is a person of interest in the murder of two people who were found dead in a mobile home in the 11000 block of South Colt Drive, near Sasabe Road on March 2.

The victims, a man and woman, suffered obvious signs of trauma. Neighbors reported hearing gun fire and seeing a car speeding away on a dirt road.

Wooden, who is known to live with acquaintances in the Three Points area as well as near Camino Verde and Ajo Way, is considered armed and dangerous.

He has several warrants for his arrest, including drugs and weapons charges.

Anyone with information on Charlie Michael Wooden is cautioned not to approach him, but call 911 or 88-CRIME immediately.
